Business Food Fund Challenge

Donate to local food banks!

Central Valley Community Bank is proud to participate in its fifth Business Food Fund Challenge to benefit food banks from the San Joaquin Valley to the Greater Sacramento region – a campaign it first began in 2014. Along with its own donation of $10,000 to 14 food banks in its territory, the Bank is actively challenging businesses of all sizes to join the effort to help fund local food banks which are working tirelessly to provide needed nourishment for families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, massive job losses due to business closures and reductions in commerce have created a spike in the need for services provided by food banks. With the true economic impact of the pandemic still unknown, it is anticipated that food insecurity will continue to escalate in the coming months, up to a year or longer.

As part of the Bank’s 40-year anniversary pledge to support 40 nonprofits for a total of $40,000 in the communities it serves, efforts are now focused on food banks and housing insecurity nonprofits due to the impacts of COVID-19. The Business Food Fund Challenge is also joined by the Bank’s entire team of employees who are creatively motivating and inspiring each another to raise funds for food banks. Since 2014, and including this campaign, the Bank has donated nearly $52,400 to food banks in the communities it proudly serves.

Please join CVCB by making a difference today and donating to the food banks noted below. For your convenience, their contact information and donation preferences are noted.
